Gabriel & Dresden are back!

It's time to rejoice people:  one of the greatest duos in electronic music has rejoined after they split up three years ago in 2008.  For anyone who doesn't know, Josh Gabriel & Dave Dresden are the trance legends behind the hit "As the Rush Comes" (under their Motorcycle moniker) featuring renowned vocalist Jes Brieden - see music video here.  Their ability to create songs with hypnotic melodies and beautiful accompanying vocals are, in my opinion, unrivalled. For a little taste check out "Tracking Treasure Down", or one of their brilliant instrumentals such as "Arcadia" or "Serendipity".

G&D are also no strangers to remixes.  Over the years they've added their unique touch to songs by artists such as Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, Groove Armada, Nalin & Kane [don't miss this, super chilled out], Above & Beyond and even Dido.  Saving the best for last, my favourite remix of theirs is a track by Bristol duo Way Out West (bam bam bam, represent!) called "Mindcircus".  This track totally encapsulates their style and deservedly became a trance classic.

Enough with the musical education.  The reason for this post is that Andain (a side project Josh Gabriel is involved in) has recently released a new track called Promises, and together Gabriel & Dresden have produced a great remix.  It includes their signature sound with an equally catchy chorus.  Almost as though they never even split...
