Certified Summa Jams #2, 3, 4, 5 & 6

Now that the summer is drawing to a close, I've decided to post a few of my favourite electronic tunes that I've been spinnin non-stop este verano.  First up we've got a remix that Swedish House Mafia did of Coldplay's latest single "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall".  Despite the pretty lame name, the original is a wicked tune (with a very cool music video) & the Swedish trio added their midas touch to make it ready for the dancefloor.  The version I have is just a rip from Pete Tong's Radio 1 show - not sure its being officially released, so you'll have to settle for this 3 minute version.  The drop at 1:55 is brilliant, pure madness!

I could not write this post without including anything by Avicii.  I've only posted 1 tune by him so far on my blog (his "Sunshine" collab with Dave Guetta), but trust me this is not an accurate representation of how much I listen to him.  Check out these blissful house bangers below.  You've most definitely heard "Levels" somewhere this summer, a strong contender for tune of 2011 so far, in my opinion.  Next up is a tune my brother Sean introduced me to called "Silhouettes".  Again, this is only a set rip but has pretty nice vocals over top a good house beat.  What can I say, the man knows how to make happy house music.  ♥

The next tune is hands down my favourite electronic song to be released this year.  It's called "With Me", by Eric Prydz, released under his Pryda alias.  Anyone who knows me well is aware that I am mildly (ha!) obsessed with this Swedish producer.  I've been listening to this particular song for over a year now via a ghetto YouTube recording someone made of him playing it live.  Hence I was pretty excited when it was officially released back in June.  Soon enough I'll do a post with some of my favourite tunes by him (just have to narrow down a list from the 65 I currently have), but for now please enjoy this incredible, beautiful, epic and extremely hypnotic 7 minutes of heaven:

Lastly, I present a song that I stumbled upon while searching YouTube for Sensation White clips.  I attended the event in Santiago Chile this past March while travelling South America, and it was unbelievable.  The below video is pretty cool itself.  But more importantly, I discovered this brilliant song by Nadia Ali, Starkillers & Alex Kenji - named "Pressure".  This is actually the Alesso remix.  I know nothing about this producer, but whatever he did to this song made it incredible.   It features one of the trance game's top vocalists, Nadia Ali, known for hits like Rapture and Love Story.  HOWEVER this aint strictly trance.  It's kinda electro/trance.  Definitely 1 of the summer bangers... njoi!
