Known for his hits like Fallen Soldier, I Remember, Duppy Know Who Fi Frighten, and She Cah Wait Demarco is another Jamaican dancehall artist who has risen to fame since '07 with his autotuned sweet melodies.

Freddie McGregor - Big Ship

Some of you pickney may not know of dis man, but he was a prominent roots reggae artist in the 80s.  I saw him live years ago up on Fort Charlotte with my friend Gary, at a concert featuring some of the Marley family as well as Glen Washington.  This is one of his classics.

Alpha Blondy - Cocody Rock

Known as the Bob Marley of Africa, this reggae artist from the Ivory Coast produced this anthem back in 1984.  Heard this tune on the radio driving around Montevideo in Uruguay a few months ago, had to Shazam it to find out the artist!

Vybz Kartel - Summer Time

For once, the popular dancehall king decides to write a song with some respectable subject matter.  A lighthearted and happy tribute to summer vacation, this is a breath of fresh air from an artist who has been banned over his controversial lyrics from several Caribbean countries such as St. Lucia, Guyana, Grenada, Barbados AND now the Bahamas!
